What is ReGrowth: Aspen?

Inspired by my favorite game, Skyrim, Aspen Forests is a new biome filled with genetically engineered Aspen trees, new flowers and grass. It is beautiful, colourful and unique.

Aspen Forests are a simple biome, there is no performance hungry code or new feature you will only find there. Its goal is to add variety for the player.

Patches for the following mods are included:

Q: Do I need a new save to use these plants?
A: No. Since plants on the map are constantly regrowing they will appear over time. It wont be instantly, but they will grow by themselves!

Q: Do these plants only grow in the boreal biome?
A: No, some also grow in tundra and cold bog biomes!

Q: Is Combat Extended compatible?
A: They are trees... and Rimworld isn't Vietnam... the tress won't shoot at you!

Q: Is this mod part of the Vanilla Expanded Series?
A: No, but I do my best to match the quality and spirit of VES.

Q: Why should I use this mod?
A: Because it's pretty and makes biomes feel more alive!

Q: Why are there plants in the screenshots I can't find here?
A: They are most likely part of another module. They all complement each other!

Q: Will you add plant X?
A: Maybe, leave a comment and you will find out!

Q: Will you make it work with 1.0?
A: Nope! Its time to move on son!

• The "ReGrowth: Aspen" mod, like the entire ReGrowth series, has been updated to RimWorld 1.4.
  
  
• The mod "ReGrowth: Aspen" has been globally updated to version v.2.0. (09.10.2022).
  
  
• The name of the mod has been changed. The name of the mod is now: "ReGrowth: Aspen".
  Previously, there were, for example, such mod names as:

• The "ReGrowth: Volcanic Ice Sheet" mod has been removed from the official list of ReGrowth mods.
  This was done as a result of a conflict within the ReGrowth project team. But unofficially, this "ReGrowth: Volcanic Ice Sheet" mod continues to work (despite the fact that the mod name now says "[Discontinued]") and perfectly complements the atmosphere of the game for the ReGrowth series of mods.
