Features

This mod adds the Monke xenotype, faction, and the banana tree tech.
Four new racial specific hairstyles have also been added. More to come.

Details

One of the earliest Xenotypes. Ancient scientists believed that human-primate hybrids would be easy to splice due to the similarities in their DNA. The Monke were originally meant to be a race of fast, hard-hitting, super-soldiers but their inherent laziness and tenancy towards unwanted violence ultimately caused the project to be terminated. Most of the Monke surviving today are the direct descendants of failed experiments from the urbworld Liberty, where the Xenotype quickly outbred the local population, overthrew the local government and fled to the stars.

With prehensile feet and stronger muscle fibers, the monke are fast moving, hard hitting close combatants. Their muscles have been better optimized for short bursts of strength but the extra energy cost causes the xenotype to be inherently lazy.

Being effectively three-handed, they are very good at manipulation, but lack the capability for finer motor movements, like crafting and shooting. The bestial genetics can make members of this race slower to grasp new concepts via research and they are quick to anger. The prehensile feet make it hard to wear durable shoes, so mining is close to impossible for them.

Compatibility

This mod was made to be used with [NL] Facial Animation. Although it can work without the mod, some headshapes will clip through the body parts.
