Compared with the standard AK-100 series, the AK-107 has very little difference in appearance. The receiver cover is fixed to the receiver by a pin. The shape and size of the ejection port are slightly different from those of the original AK rifle. The piston cylinder extends from the leading edge of the grip to the sight (this is the biggest difference in appearance). The bolt, firing mechanism, receiver, regulator, sight, stock, magazine and muzzle brake are all taken from the AK gun family. Compared with the ordinary AK rifle, the biggest difference of the AK-107/108 lies in the presence of a balancer with six-toothed gears that has a balancing function together to reduce the recoil impact of the bolt.
