Mod «Horizon - HDF Talon-II» for Ravenfield (Build 21)

Intended to fully replace the archaic Talon-I CAS plane, the ATARMS Talon-II is the high-capability strikeplane to the Impaler's low-capability; the F-15 to the F-16. While similar in dimensions, the Talon boasts far greater thrust, lift, maneuverability, payload, range - and cost.

While technically more capable than even the Strike-Impaler, Talon-IIs are largely consigned to strike missions, and of the many possible configurations it may have, the up-and-coming revolves around a heavy load of unguided high-drag bombs supplemented by the Hailstorm GaussPod.

While the Talon can mount an internal 20mm gun, such rounds aren't the greatest versus tank and ship-plate. Smaller bullets, however, slung at many times the speed of sound? The Hailstorm is a self explanatory weapon, and will chew through whatever target is placed before it given that the pilot can stay on target.

When neither the Hailstorm nor old-fashioned bombs and reliable SRMs can do the job, though,
You can always call on some orbital fire support, and drop 750 kilos of tungsten at mach 15.

Just keep out of the blast radius - and don't expect credit for the kills.
