This mod allows you to start as a highly trained black-operations operative, known only to a select few as the "Insurgents", sent into the Knox Event's Exclusion Zone for a highly classified mission.
The codenamed “Insurgents” are a highly classified black-operations special forces unit serving under the US Special Operations Command, tasked to handle the most secretive of missions and government cover-ups.
Insurgent operatives are the best of the best, comprised of highly decorated and experienced soldiers from many different specialised backgrounds.
As an Insurgent, you begin parachuted deep inside the Exclusion Zone on a highly classified mission. Each member of your 12-person team already parachuted into different areas of Kentucky on separate assignments before you.
The high-secrecy of your mission demands absolute radio silence. Attempts made to contact your team are also met with silence..
Armed, highly trained and determined in a hostile environment against an unknown threat, you must continue your mission alone.
Note: This mod does not add any actual objectives, however 2 secret items have been added to the military base

Starting equipment:
You begin inserted into the Exclusion Zone, north of the landing position is a vast forest, which deep inside lies the secret military base. Following the trail upwards near you to take you directly there. South of your position is the town of Rosewood.
You will start with basic provisions and equipment. Further equipment can be added based on specifically selected traits.
In character creation you will be able to select any military clothing, as well as additional insurgent-exclusive clothing.
The following clothing is added:
Insurgent gear cant be found in normal loot. Non-insurgents can get their hands on the valuable gear by finding rare deceased insurgent operators across Knox County. Each one can only be found once.
Traits included:
nsurgents start with +12 trait points and have a plethora of abilities at their disposal. 30+ new traits are split into: Equipment, Ability and Specialisation.
Examples include:
Equipment traits determine your starting loadout.
Rifleman = Start as a rifleman with an M16.
Marksman = Start as a marksman with an M14.
Assault = Start with a shotgun and sledgehammer.
Ability traits provide you with special abilities to aid you in combat.
Breacher = Knock-down zombies when running.
Run n'Gun = Aiming penalties dont apply when moving.
Unstoppable = When close to death, regain health and continue the fight.
Specialisation traits reflect your Insurgent's specialisation in skills from many previous deployments.
War Hero = +1 Aiming, +1 Reloading and +1 Running skills.
Survival Expert = +3 Farming, +3 Foraging, +3 Trapping skills.
Demolitions Specialist = +3 Electrical skill & explosives recipes learnt.
