Mod «Historical[A] National Focus Dates» for Hearts of Iron 4 (v1.16.10)

This mod reorganizes the AI's choices regarding the order of national priorities, bringing them closer to historical dates. It also slightly restructures some branches of the focus tree and makes rare changes to events and decisions in accordance with these focus changes.

In the standard version, the AI ​​completes dozens of national priorities completely incorrectly, and sometimes out of order, despite them representing important historical events. The dates of declarations of war, countries entering alliances, coups, or important laws are crucial for internal political and geopolitical coherence.
It's virtually impossible to create a game that is historically accurate, even when playing as a country, without deviating from its own. Here are some examples of real events: the German-Turkish Friendship Treaty was signed on June 18, 1941, Turkey joined the Allies in February 1945, Hungary joined the Axis in September 1940, Romania on October 23, 1940, Bulgaria in March 1941, Pearl Harbor occurred in December 1941, Operation Weserübung took place before the Battle of France, the British Military Training Act was passed before Home Defense, and even the First US Special Forces were created in July 1942...
For lovers of historical accuracy, there is a solution:  the dates of the historical national focus  . With these changes, the mod addresses a number of geopolitical issues.

Keep in mind that the mod update focuses on the period from 1936 to 1945. After that, history may... deviate from what we know.

☛ It does not add non-vanilla focuses.
☛ It rarely (and only slightly) changes effects.
☛ It does not reduce AI adaptability compared to vanilla.  Note that if the player deviates significantly from history, the AI ​​retains the ability to adapt its choice of national priorities accordingly. Thus, this mod is only meaningful for those who follow the actual history concerning major events  .
☛ It occasionally changes durations (and sometimes for vanilla balancing reasons).
☛ Some branches of the national focus trees have been slightly restructured, and only when necessary.
☛ The AI's choice of order for many national focuses not related to dates has necessarily been changed to allow for the reordering of those related to historical dates.

Currently,  about 215 historical focuses are closer to their historical dates than in the vanilla version.
