World Ablaze is a ongoing project to completely overhaul the vanilla game to become more challenging, historical and indepth. Right now it features a massive expansion to the tech trees, large improvements to the ai, expanded focus tree’s and numerous small changes that improve the gameplay experience.
Each Nation has a customized tech tree and AI all with a unique flavor. (e.g. The tiger tank is what it always was, one of the deadliest tanks of WWII)
Also this mod closely follows historical statistics and dates, but a few concessions have been made for the sake of balance. It also assumes the war can go up to 1948 therefore some post war techs have been included even those after 1948 to take into account the arms race that occurs during war.
Major Features:
- A much more robust and dangerous AI (more so when going down historical paths)
- unique artwork for all new technologies including vanilla ones
- Expanded tech tree’s for all nations
- A overhauled political and economic system with more tabs to better represent history
- Overhauled focus tree’s for Germany, the United States and Soviet Union, with others receiving small tweaks and expansions
- New harsher weather system
- Unique tech tree’s for each of the major nations and some minor’s
- A complete rebalance of the game mechanics
- more division icons with color
- New Decisions and events and a more historical play through (D-Day, Polish uprising)
- More research bonuses using Army XP
- Changes to state boundaries and categories
- More realistic construction, with each subsequent building in each state costing more and repair times increasing
- Changes to the economy to accurately reflect the toll of war

My game crashes just before I enter a game, i have the right version, i just downloaded the mod and it doesn't give me any reasons why. Do you know what it might be?
to be fair its a really good mod. but now days devs really will do anything to make the mod hard. what i mean is for example france gets 1800 defense on average when the average breakthrough and soft attack is like 200-300 or like the soviets going from 200 to 300 in 3 months when you can`t even get 15 in that time.
