Mod «The Fire Redux» for Hearts of Iron 4 (v1.16.1 - 1.16.10)

The Fire Redux (TFX) is not a reboot or a fix of The Fire Rises (TFR), it is an expansion. We seek to build upon the vision TFR has already established and add more fire to it. From the forgotten, scorching corners of Yemen to the frigid snowfields of Finland, every story will be told. Only one question remains—are you ready?

The year is 2020. The United States and Iran are locked in a Cold War-era standoff, while a mysterious novel virus has been spreading uncontrollably through central China. Russia, Saudi Arabia, and other nations brace for the shockwaves of a volatile oil market, and the Syrian Civil War enters an uncertain phase.

In America, tensions are reaching a breaking point. The nation teeters on the profound social unrest — just one spark away. Disillutionment with the government grows as Congress and the people drift further apart as it is seen more and more as an institution incapable of making meaningful change. Across the country, communities prepare for the unknown. Guns are being displayed openly in numbers never seen before.
The worst is yet to come...

The fire rises, and from this moment, the world is in your hands. Eighty years of global peace now hang by a thread. War across continents will forge a new world, one born of fire and tempered in the blood of millions.

Imagine fighting in the sand-swept civil war of Yemen; or taking charge in a time of economic collapse and political upheaval, steering China through reform amid impossible dilemmas; or shifting focus to the Balkans, the Korean Peninsula, or South America—regions not yet at the center of the world stage—and shaping their destinies.

This is what we TFX aim to explore. We are delving deeper into the already mature world of TFR, bringing it fresh perspectives and engaging content. Currently, we are developing an expansion on China's New Left and playable content for South Yemen. Our beloved teams for South and North Korea are also hard at work, providing our players with additional flavor and experiences in East Asia. At the same time, our European team is actively developing content for Nordic countries like Sweden and Finland, not to mention our Balkan team, which has already begun creating content for Serbia and Bosnia. We are also increadibly fortunate and honored to have other dev teams join our cause. Our dear friends from the Hungary Submod and the TFR Expansion Ukraine team are enthusiastically contributing their talents and content to out shared undertaking.
