A rebalance of the four base game ideologies, aiming to make each slightly more independent and unique while nerfing and buffing where needs be. Overall, this is a nerf to fascism and communism in some aspects, such as improving relations and stability. Democracies and neutral nations benefit the most from this mod, hopefully making the way the game plays out more realistic and encompassing how each ideology functioned better in game.
Features overhauls to all 4 base game ideologies:
Fascism
Harder to improve relations due to nationalistic focuses & loses some core population due to isolating minorities, such as African Americans in the US or Jewish people in Germany.
Communism
Able to influence other nations easier, but suffers from a stability penalty and less relations from trading. Due to being revolutionary & many people in poverty or in poor conditions, consumer goods factories are lowered by 5%.
Democracy
An overhaul to hopefully make democracy more enjoyable to play. Influencing politics and subversive activities are harder to carry out on a democracy due to the stable nature of most, WT penalties for beginning to engage in the war have been adjusted to help give democracies a fighting chance. Also have both the ability to change a country's government or puppet now, setting up peace-deals to be more realistic in some cases.
Non-Aligned
Encompassing a wide array of ideologies, non-aligned is used here to show an increase in stability and war support for nations that are such, a unified people improving these factors. They still suffer from an influence debuff but this has been changed from -30% to -10%. They now have a penalty of -5% Political Power applied, be it due to having a weak democracy or having a monarch in charge which makes ruling more personal & difficult.
