After the unparalleled destruction of the Second Weltkrieg, the entire world was turned on its head as ideologies died and the world order shifted. The United States was thought to be a dead nation, but was surprisingly reunited by the so-called “Nortonists”, or more formally, the Pacific American Empire. The “Nortonists” brought constitutional monarchism to a previously staunchly republican nation. Totalism became the dominant ‘far left’ ideology with the collapse of the Third International and the near destruction of syndicalism. The People’s Tsardom of Russia, Chile, Argentina, and the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, took the dead torch left by the Third International, created the Fourth International. Japan isolated itself from the world while Chiang Kai-Shek united China as a democracy. The world split into various new and old alliances as German power waned. Although thought to be impossible, peace has been relatively sustained for nearly 65 years. However, the old authoritarian regimes are beginning to show cracks at their structure and the people seem to be ready for revolution. While only one question remains, where is the incoming powder keg going to blow up first?
