Mod «Holy Crescent» for Hearts of Iron 4 (v1.9.0 - 1.9.1)

Holy Crescent is an alternate-history total conversion mod changing the game to an alternate timeline that diverges from ours with the second offensive of the Ottomans in the Pruth War in 1711. The mod still takes place in 1936.

What new features does the mod have?

Just like any other total conversion mod has, there are new countries, leaders, portraits, states, victory points, focus trees, events, national spirits etc.

Apart from these obligatory features, there are three special features in the mod.

The first one being the dynamic language of states and provinces which means the name of the state and VPs in it change names according to the language of the controller. (Note: This feature does not work in the entire world. For now it works for the most part of Central Europe, the Balkans, Asia Minor, Arabia and Egypt. Also these changes do not appear for all countries, it only happens if a country with a relevant language (relevant to the area occupied) like the Arabians for Mosul or the Ottomans for Thessaloniki occupies the land)

The other special feature is the state interaction window which appears when you click on a state you own. It has three options which lets you urbanize the area, construct an industrial complex or make it a core for dynamic prices based on factors like the distance between the state and your capital and your war support.

The third feature is not an entirely new mechanic but rather something I enjoy tremendously and would like to share. It is the addition of the Volga-Don Canal Project of the Ottomans which connects the Volga River to the Don River through a canal. But it doesn’t end there, in Holy Crescent all the Western Russian rivers (like the Sivir and Volga) and reservoirs are connected with the HoI4 canal system which means you are able to transfer your navy from the Black Sea to the Baltic Sea through a single path.

What about ideologies?

The mod has 5 ideologies, it may very well be increased in the future but for now the ideologies the mod offers are;

Countries with special focus trees are as listed, keep in mind that the level of polish for some countries are limited.
