Add the "Q" shortcut as in Factorio, for conveniently selecting and switching designators. Save your life from multiple clicks in the commands tab.

Details:

When nothing is selected and you press Q, a designator will be activated if it's applicable to the thing at your mouse position. You can also switch to the next available designator by pressing Q again. If the current thing already has a designator, this shortcut will give you the cancel command. Rebind the "Q" key to any other keys in the game settings for your preference. Both vanilla and modded designators should be supported.

FAQ:

Can be safely added to or removed from your save.
It's a tiny QoL mod, so I suppose there are no compatibility issues. Contact me if you find one.
