Tired of growers dropping stacks and shuttling one pile at a time? This mod makes harvests smooth: pick up as you work, keep it in inventory, then unload everything directly into valid storage when harvesting pauses.


Features

On-the-go pickup – While harvesting/cutting plants, pawns automatically scoop nearby yields.
Inventory first – Harvested stacks stay in the pawn’s inventory until unload (no drop/pick spam).
One unload job – Pawns run a single “unload to storage” pass that places items straight into stockpiles/shelves.
PUaH-style, zero dependency – Works great on its own; coexists politely if you also use Pick Up And Haul.
Lightweight QoL – No settings, no micro, performance-friendly.


Compatibility

Safe mid-save – No persistent data; you can add/remove anytime.
Storage mods & shelves – Uses vanilla storage cell finding; respects filters and priorities.
With PUaH installed – No hard dependency; this mod focuses on plant yields and avoids double-hauling.
Plant mod friendly – Operates directly on the harvest job, so any plant marked as harvestable (vanilla or modded) is included.


Scope & Notes

Targets plant yields (crops/produce). General hauling for non-harvest items remains vanilla.
If no valid storage exists (filters/space/priority), pawns hold items and retry automatically soon after.
Prefers unloading larger stacks first to cut down on trips.

  • Fix: Robots no longer “eat” carried resources when collected — items are dropped safely first.
    Fix: Gear tab “Drop” can no longer delete stacks; fallback placement guarantees items land on the ground.
    Stability: Added safety cleanups to avoid immediate re-queueing after emergency drops.
  • Fix: Skip “despawn safety” when pawns board/enter shuttles or transporters (no more auto-dumps).
    Tweak: Despawn safety limited to haulable resource items only; safer container iteration.
  • Mechanoids: Allow/Forbid non-haulers (job-only carry + unload).
    Removed mech “always hauling-capable” override.
    Job-aware pickup: Plants / Construction / Mining / Animals only take relevant yields.
    Stricter exclusions (no equippables/books/drugs/artifacts); respects chunk toggle.

  • Updated patch to target JobGiver_DropUnusedInventory.TryGiveJob (RimWorld 1.6 fix).

    Verified draft-cancel unload logic still functions correctly.
