Concepts for a bullpup anti tank rifle firing the 7.92x145mm ammunition began in Czechoslovakia during the interwars period. When Germany occupied the country, the development continued under the favor of the SS, which wanted to supply itself instead on depending on army contracts. They were used mainly during Operation Barbarossa, against the lightly armored tanks of the Soviet army. The gun could go throuhg 30mm of armor at 100 meters, making it specially effective against T26 or BT tanks. In 1942 production ended as heavier tanks became the norm, reducing it's utility greatly, now being used to destroy trucks or other transport vehicles
