The Specter, real name Pyotr (Sergey) Makarov, was a contracted assassin, employed by his military during the second Cold War, as a obstacle for the Ghost Agent.
He went by several different codenames throughout his assassin career, being called the "Apparition", or the "Liquidator".
Described as a equal and brutal killer, He was described on "test" missions as proforming rather excellently on small targets, hiding in the bushes at night, sniping them in close proximities.
His suit, composed of a modified Russian GP-5 Gasmask with added night-vision capabilities, A dark green undersuit with modified suspenders, and a hoodless, large brown blazer, with a silenced sniper by his side.
Called in by his Military, He was assigned to kill Mark Ragland, otherwise known as the Phantom, or the Ghost Agent.
Eariler, a few days ago.. The Phantom had killed the former president's wife in a botched assassination on his life, angering him.
In a desperate grief, he had hired The Specter to kill him at all costs, for a hefty payday.
Agreeing to the money, the Specter put his sights on the Ghost Agent, marking spots where he usually appeared.
Time after time, he hid in dark areas, waiting for the Phantom's Silhouette to appear. The first time around, the Specter comically failed the assassination attempt, as his gun setup broke, causing the gun to go off and miss.
The Phantom took notice and ran off, hiding.
Pyotr got mad and broke his gun in half, before retreating back to the base.
Handed another gun under a fake excuse, he was ready to re-attempt it again.
Time after time, he kept failing to kill him, and so did the Phantom.
Sometimes, a singular assassination the Phantom and the Specter were after, were killed by both of them at the same time, causing both to slowly lose their minds.
Both would refuse to stop hunting each other, as if they were made assassins for each other.
Years would go by, as they got older and more insane.. The Specter and the Phantom stood there, meeting face to face in the middle of a empty and destroyed battlefield.
Both realized, that their militaries were using them for gains for each side, promoting unease for hollow fighting.
They came in mutural agreement to be allies, seeing as their fighting would lead them nowhere, eventually shedding their suits and going to freelance killing.
the Ghost Agent's agency had assigned a organization, called the SCR to retrieve the suits.
The SCR collected their suits, as they were using them as a base to make new armours.
However, one way or another.. they left the suits to hang in a isolated closet, forever forgotten for the identities they once protrayed.
Wherever the assassins were, they weren't the Specter or the Phantom. Not anymore. Forever faceless and nameless.
That's about it for lore
I could do a part 2, featuring a new, third assassin
