Once a humble Quartz Hauler, a rugged industrial mech designed for heavy lifting and excavation, Rendstorm is now an unrecognizable beast built for destruction. Originally deployed in off-world mining colonies, Quartz Haulers were mass-produced, sturdy machines meant to endure harsh conditions while hauling massive payloads. However, after the collapse of the [random mining corporation], many of these mechs were abandoned or fell into the hands of scavengers, warlords, and rogue engineers.

Rendstorm is the twisted creation of an unknown engineer, forged in the lawless scrap yards of The Ashen Belt. Stripped of its cargo arms and retrofitted with dual chainsaws, this abomination now carves through enemies as easily as it once cut through stone. Its reinforced torso, plated with salvaged Titan Alloy, allows it to shrug off small arms fire and even withstand direct rocket impacts. To compensate for its increased weight, Rendstorm was fitted with a set of reinforced thruster boosters, allowing for short bursts of speed and devastating aerial strikes.

Now, the mech prowls the battlefield like a mechanical reaper, tearing through enemy lines with terrifying efficiency. Some say it operates without a pilot, a ghost in the machine driven by vengeance. Others claim its pilot is a rogue miner seeking retribution for the company that abandoned them.
