This mod replaces the European/Arabic architecture seen in the Iberia, Italy, Balkans, and Anatolia regions and replaces them with the built-in Latin style.
In vanilla, Iberia, Italy, and the Balkans use the same building style as the rest of Europe, which looks out of place in a Mediterranean environment. Anatolia uses the Arabic building set, which is even worse! Fortunately, the game has a solution already built-in: the Latin building set.
By default it is only used in South and Central America, but its terracotta roofs and light construction fits the Mediterranean aesthetic well. It's not perfect, but it's certainly an improvement on the preexisting buildings! I'm sure a custom set will be made for the region at some point, but for now the Latin set is a great compromise.
The pictures show a before/after comparison of Rome, Constantinople, Naples, and Madrid between their default building sets and the Latin set. Look at how the Vatican and Hagia Sophia (custom monument designs) fit much better with the Latin style!
May God(Tengri) be with you always when you need him :)
Thank you for posting this mod in here, otherwise i would see the desert buildings on my Constantinople, forever!!
