The Webley MkVI was a reliable and tough sidearm used through WW1 and WW2. Devised as a heavy hitting close weapon, during the first World War slowly replaced previous models, and, although technically itself substituted by the Enfield No.2 in WW2, the lack of those ensured the continued use of the MkVI through all fronts with British troops
