Designed in 1936 to replace (although it never completely did) the Type 11 machinegun after it's mixed results in the first clashes in China, tthe Type 96 was an exterior copy of the Vz26 LMG,although internally it was closer to the Type 11. It was more reliable, quicker to reload and also had a quick change barrel in comparison to the Type 11.It saw use, along with the Type 11 and the Type 99 until the end of the war, with a reputation of being generally reliable if only slightly underpowered
STATS:
-Damage->55 (2 shots to the body)
