APC for the Halcon crisis.
VAB Faux
The Faux APC spawned from a series of military trials in 1976, searching for a light armored vehicle to lead spearhead charges.
Moteurs de rivière, for short, MDR, won the the trials by a large margin- exceeding in armarment aswell as agility. Unusual for APCs of its time, the Faux was equipped with a 35mm Autocannon in a remote controlled weapon station, instead of a manned tower, and could cross even deep water due to its amphibious abilities. This versitility has led the Faux to serve the Armée de Faucon up to this day
RECA Escudo
The potential of armored cavalery was overlooked in the hawkian army, even after devestating losses during the great war. From a hard learned lesson, multible APC prototypes where reached in by mechanised troops to the Ministry of defense- despite no formal trials beeing conducted. Eventually realising the potential of the highly-mobile Infantry, the hawkian military conducted a trial in late 1989- with the Escudo emerging as the winning design. With a high emphasis on system redundancy and crew survival, the Escudo is all build around protection.
