For a long time, the inhabitants of the bunker didn't even know about the terrible truth, until they developed symptoms of Kuru disease, from eating meat soup from human brains and secondary organs. Only a few were not infected: the officers and the Doctor, who ate only clean meat.

This continued for a long period, until in 2035, the complex was visited by a detachment of Sparta, led by Melnik. After clearing and exposing the lies, they killed all the remaining reasonable people and turned off the ventilation with radio communication systems, leaving the remaining people to slow and hungry extinction.
