Mod «Dreams of Yugoslavia» for Hearts of Iron 4 (v1.12.11)

Hello and welcome, brothers, sisters and partisans! A New Mod by the Team behind Dreams of a White Russian Victory and Dreams of Poland, comes a new instalment in the series, Dreams of Yugoslavia!

Spawned from the inane and insane ramblings of a crazy Croatian man and the determination of a very bored American, this mod brings to you a rework of the bland and uninspired tree of vanilla Yugoslavia and breathes new life to it. No more must you wait 70 days to be able to make your fighter planes 10% better. No more must you endure breaking up your country bit by bit and reassembling it like a toddler’s Lego set. No more shall you suffer with the hot garbage thats called the Yugoslavian communist branch.

Current Features:

• A Historical Path featuring the figures we all know with a twist. Continue the Regency, yet break the cycle of inaction and finally continue Alexander’s Legacy, eventually handing the crown to Peter as King of a united nation, or a broken one.
• An alternate path, take power as the Zbor, dethrone Peter, and crown Paul as your puppet king. Become the superpower of the Balkans, let the Yugoslav Empire reign supreme, and form puppets of all your neighbours. Yes, that does include Italy.
• A Communist branch where as Tito you give the bird to the soviets and create your own Socialists paradise in the Balkans through blood and iron or covert means.
• A Different communist branch where as Gorkich you become the soviets "friend" and help them with their war with probably Germany.
• A military focus tree that’s actually useful
• National Spirits, Ideas, Buffs and Debuffs that give you a better feel of just how much of a mess the country truly was.
• Reworked ministers to be more accurate of the historical government.

Planned Features:

Currently, there are many paths planned out in the future, some of which may be scrapped or altered, however for now these are the ones you can expect:

• A Democratic Path with choosing between 3 possible ministers; Milan Grol, Ivan Ribar, and Ante Šubasić. With Grol’s path being a mainline federalized democracy, Ribar transforming the nation into a Social/Liberal Democracy, and Šubasić toeing the line with King and Country alike.
• And finally, you have your boys in brown, the fascists of Milan Stojadinović. With Stojadinović, you shall lead the nation down the path of authoritarianism while playing the game of nations, trying to get on top as best you can.

Compatibility:

Unfortunately, like the other “Dreams of” mods, this mod is most likely not compatible with a lot of conversion and focus mods, as they were all intended to be played separately. Mods like Dreams of Poland, or Dreams of a White Russian Victory will, while not outright crash the game, break it as they were not made with their inclusion in mind. This may or may not be amended in the future
