Mod «Hearts of Iron: Age of the Steam Mashines» for Hearts of Iron 4 (v1.11.1 - 1.11.12)
Our mod takes the action of HoI 4 in the middle of the XIX century in our alternative universe, in which technological progress rolled "a little" in the other direction.
If we talk about the history of the world, perhaps the main difference from our universe is that the Byzantine Empire withstood the onslaught of the Turks and kept control of the straits, allowing Europe to trade more actively with Asia. In turn, a different state of affairs in the Balkans and Anatolia prevented a Columbus expedition and the discovery of the lands of the New World did not take place until the late eighteenth century.
