Mod «Combat Overhaul Legacy» for Barotrauma

Combat Overhaul is a series of mods aimed at redesigning Barotrauma's combat, especially firearms.
Many new mechanics are introduced to make it more realistic aimed at tactics and planning, but still enjoyable and fun.

The Combat Overhaul mod aims to reduce the time to kill (TTK) for both humans and creatures, creating a new fast-paced and ruthless combat environment with a high requirement for skill, accuracy and tactics. The mod gives players plenty of opportunities to customize and customize weapons and equipment with upgrades, attachments, different calibers, ammunition types, etc.
The variety of gear and equipment allows everyone to find something for themselves: blow up everything around you with grenade launchers, sneak up on enemies in a stealth suit, or fight your way through the hostile depths with your dad's twin-barrelled rifle.
Any tactic will do, as long as you have one, of course!
You are given plenty of tools to play with, but be patient and don't expect to get the best from the start. As you progress through the campaign, more and more equipment becomes available to youb and its quality increases.

Combat Overhaul Legacy retains the core idea of the mod, focusing on quality craftsmanship and interesting mechanics such as recoil, customization through inventory, jamming, and magazines that now need to be manually loaded with ammo. On top of that, I've added an equipment upgrade system that allows you to customize equipment items like diving suits, body armor, and helmets. I've also introduced the idea of Gunshot Deafness and Hearing Protection to further enhance the immersive effect of this mod.
